LOG FILES
Progress-By-Design follows a standard procedure of using log files, used to notate visitors to our website. Hosting companies offer log files as part of their hosting services' analytics. Progress-By-Design currently utilizes the hosting services provided by GoDaddy. Information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and sometimes, the number of clicks. The purpose of the information is to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement on the website, and gather demographic information.
COOKIES AND WEB BEACONS
Like most websites, Progress-By-Design uses cookies. These cookies are used to store visitors' preferences, including the website pages the visitor accessed or visited, and to optimize our users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information. Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that may appear on Progress-By-Design, which are sent directly to the users' browsers. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. THE PRIVACY OF CHILDREN
